Can a punching bag hooked to the ceiling in the basement make the floor cave in? - floor punching bags
My husband has a sack full of drilling water in the basement, hanging from the ceiling of May, the soil seems to be one of the main beams. The bag is very heavy, of course. They are constantly training in the pocket for a professional MMA fight next month. If you punch him in the basement (and he punched and kicked, hard) as no relocation or anything from the rooms, it looks normal. But if one appears at the top when an earthquake occurs? Tables, sofas and shake all of its terrible and very strong. My concern is sitting on my bed after crashing through the floor into the basement! Is it not good for the house (as intergrity floor boards), so that the sand bag hanging there? My husband thinks its fine and nothing wrong. Is he right?
educated guesses or answers only please =)
